What is Brock and Salk on this Monday on the precipice of Christmas Eve and Christmas

right around the corner this week, but Brady and I will be in.

The BHS will be in today and tomorrow.

Rich Gannon is going to join us in about 30 minutes and then she'll Capadia at 930 this

morning. It'll be fun. We'll catch up with Matt Hasselback tomorrow morning early as well at 7.30.

If we're throwing flowers at the offseason of the Cocks, the text toy said, hey, can you give Charles his due? I mean, Charles is in the festive mood. Charles got that Christmas sweater. Charles, you're looking good, man. Text toy liking your look right now. Thank you, Brock. And thank you, so people on the text line. I'm getting all decked out for the holidays. And as you can see, in my festive era, that's what it says on the sweater. That's what I'm talking about. That's what Charles brings. He brings the juice every time he's on the board. I'm going to pick your brain here a little bit, Lyle. Brady, don't take this segment off, all right, because I love the way your brain works from a reporting standpoint. and you know covering the offseason, the NFL and what trades and pivots. And we've seen what it's meant to the Seahawks this season as we just got done talking about Gino and D.K. and all of that and the acquisitions and the new deals. Over the weekend, allow we at least get another data point. It doesn't have to do with the Mariners. They don't make a move

quite yet. We know there's a ton of activity and a ton of talking to all of these guys,

but we do get another data point when it comes to the trade market, right? We look at the

Red Sox who make a move with the Cardinals. Cardinals clearly in trade mode. They moved Sunny

Gray a couple weeks ago with the Red Sox. They already put one deal together. And then over the weekend, their catcher first base, kind of an older guy. I didn't realize Wilson Contreras is 33 years old. But a productive bad, a positive player, the Red Sox make that move. They move, what, three pitchers in their system one at the big league level,

a guy that's been a little bit banged up and two other young guys to the Cardinals. So you kind of

take in that data point. I guess A, Lyle, when that happens, your reaction as far as what that

means to the Mariners and then B be just from evaluation standpoint, you know,

how do you feel like that swap went between those two teams?

I think my evaluation for the Mariners is when could this Brendan Donovan trade happen?
