And he had some thoughts for you, Dave, on who is actually running the Giants draft room. Would you like to hear that? I know the answer, but go ahead. There's a lot of voices in that building right now, and I think that everybody's trying to figure out just kind of what the power dynamic is. Now the draft is going to play out. Joe Shane is heavily involved. He runs the scouting operation. But John Harbaugh's got a ton of juice, and he's got some of his own people like Donoponte in the building. I think that's part of why there's as many rumors as there are about the Giants. Folks don't know who's the last word in the draft room right now for the Giants. Is it John Harbaugh, Tom? John Harbaugh contractually has a great deal of say over the roster. Joe Shane is still running the personnel department and running the draft. I think that a lot of the, you know, the final say kind of gets overblown. It's more a matter of the dynamics and the conversations to lead up to it. I mean, I've asked GMs that before. There's not a lot of occasions, if any, especially in the functional places where somebody ultimately is pulling rank and making a pick and the other person gets ticked off. From, you know, the outside looking in, teams that have dealt with the giants on trades, on contracts, on everything else. Yeah, there's just a little bit of a question right now just in terms of

who ultimately, you know, is truly in charge of the organization and everything that we know

about how much money John Harbaugh makes. The type of contract he got, the things that are in the

contract would suggest that John Harbaugh has a strong voice over all aspects of the operation.

I mean, isn't that what you would expect? That was the whole holdup of whether he was going to take the job or not. I'm sure the last line of who makes a decision, not that Joe Shane's not doing stuff and is not giving his insight to John Harbaugh, but I'm sure that John Harbaugh is able to make the final decision here. Right. Listen, I wasn't surprised by the answer, but, I mean, I isn't asked the question. Pelliserro is, I mean, this is his job, right, to have some information as to what's going on. So I just think to reiterate kind of what everyone thought in the first place. But, I mean, Joe Shane right now is in an interesting spot because he's put all this work in with all the scouting and everything else. And at the same time, feels like, you know, he's the odd man out here unless something changes. Right. I mean, who knows what's going to happen with Joe Shane? He could get through this whole process. And Harbaugh can be like, yep, we're all set. Thanks. There's been discussion about is there a chance that he gets, you know, fired next week?

He's not going to lose a power struggle with Joe Shane. There's no way.
