So what you said, I think is so true suddenly when college football was challenged and people started to say, oh my God, the big 10's going to cancel the pack 12's going to cancel the entire season.

And they go down the tubes. It was like everybody out there suddenly felt like, hey, we've got to stand up and fight for the season. And you saying you were hearing from people behind the scenes when you stepped into the fray and said, hey, here's why I think college football needs to happen.

That's what we finally started to see happen in public, right, where I think a lot of people were surprised how many coaches athletic directors, players were a hundred billion percent committed defining a way to play, whether it's just in fields at Ohio State, who may not get to play unfortunately, but I credit him for fighting as hard as he could Trevor Lawrence at Clemson, who I think's voice came out at a time that we want to play. I'm not sure without social media.

Honestly, that everything would have ended up the way it did and and players and coaches finally found their voice. And I think that's the reason we're going to have a season of any type at all.

Yeah, I agree with you. And I think what what happened was there, there was such a spotlight put on the what I would call the anal anecdotal pieces.

About the players opting out or saying that they don't feel safe when I knew from the communication I had had with both players coaches, training staffs around the country that the majority of players did feel comfortable and indeed more safe within football than then without.

So I you know there was again there was so much attention paid to this players opting out and this players opting out and this player says he doesn't feel safe and then there was the you know that pack 12 group that came out.

And you know said a lot of different things part of it being about coronavirus part of it being financial and I think it was I think it was very apparent and social media was absolutely the driver because for the first time.

The rest of the players didn't have to have a media outlet to have a blow horn. Trevor Lawrence is more powerful than any college football media person in the business right and so you know he sent out a couple of tweets and then Justin feels and then you just see this this outpouring of emotion from the guys that want to play.

And I do think it was really powerful and not only powerful I think it absolutely shocked the what I would call kind of the the.

How do I say this diplomatically the the the establishment.

Yeah like what I'm calling what I'm calling the corona bros in the sports media like I don't think that they really.

My best and not yet that term yeah what I'll say it for you the corona bros did not they did not understand yes yes and we've seen and we've seen a very different tune to some coverage yes college football because of it because I think they were they were shocked by this this kind of wave of I don't know if you want to call it pushback but of of people saying hey listen.

You may be reading about that one player but that's not how I feel you know so I think it was it was really remarkable I just that I thought that Sunday I can't remember how many was the three Sundays ago or whatever it was.

It I mean it was just like college football shifted you know and all of a sudden it was like we you know gone were the anecdotal stories of fear and and were the conversations about what was actually happening on campuses.

Yeah I think it was a great rising up of the silent majority to that point of college football players that have been training working to be able to play and then suddenly they realized wait this is going to be taken away from us and we need to have our voices lend our voices and at least make it clear that the vast majority of us do in fact want to play.
