There was never a moment where you thought the next were going to win that game. It was never close. It also didn't feature Jalen Brunson as Jalen was getting a rest day. And this didn't pop into my head, even though it should have. Because in the first half, as we've talked about over the last few days, Kat doesn't get enough touches and he doesn't get up enough shots. And it really isn't excusable. And last last night he got off eight shots in the first half, which is a very acceptable number. And maybe it's because Jalen Brunson wasn't out there. They were still zero three pointers. It was zero three pointers. That's true. But he was five for eight from the field. Right. He was very active. Look, he was dominant in the paint. It's what he wanted to see from him. But you also want to see him take some shots from range.

Oh, absolutely.

But I really want the ball. I want him to make plays. He's my second best offensive player. And last night's case, he's my best offensive player because Jinglin isn't out there. So, yeah, I think you could jump to the conclusion. and all you need was Jose Alvarado running the point

I thought we did a great job moving the ball.

I thought we did a good job playing with a 0.5 mentality and doing everything we needed to do

to be a good team and a hungry team with a lot of guys trying to prove themselves in his league. So I thought we did a good job of weather in the storm. We understood they're going to play hard, they're going to play well, and we found a way to win. So the point five mentality is something Steph Curry used to talk about, which is basically holding the basketball too long as a bad thing. It's like a grenade. That's what Steph used to say. So 0.5

kind of refers to in less than a second, you're doing something. You're getting rid of the

ball. Right. And when he said that, all I can think about is, is he throw in shade of Jalen

Bruns because all he does is not 0.5 basketball? I mean, clearly he was. And maybe it's because

this is something that Mike Brown talks about like you end up as a

player parroting your your coach right i remember this one ronde and and john gruden he went to

super bowl he's always talking about all these idioms and things that john would say and i'm like that's not

you you're just regurgitating John Gruden.

Players tend to regurgitate what their coaches tell them.

And so to me, this sounds like Kat is just reinforcing that Mike Brown wants ball movement.
