| 0:23.8 | Since then, look at this Donald Trump's lead. He has added eight points to his total. DeSantis up a |
| 0:31.2 | couple. Haley flat. Donald Trump over the last month, last six weeks in Iowa, has actually improved his position. |
| 0:39.8 | And the last time we were this close to the caucuses that a Republican candidate had a lead anywhere near this size. |
| 0:47.1 | You've got to go all the way back to George W. Bush. |

| 1:02.7 | So you got to go back quite a ways here in order to get to a similar position. |
| 1:09.4 | And that's interesting, Clay. There are a lot of people that |
| 1:12.4 | are looking at this and trying to make sense of it. And all the caveats apply. We're a year out |
| 1:17.7 | from the general election snapshot in time. A lot of things can change. A lot of things can happen. |
| 1:22.8 | Okay, fine. I wanted to hear from a lot of you on this one. Let's take Dave in Salt Lake City, where I believe the show is number one. We love you, Salt Lake. What's up, Dave? Hey, not much, and the show is number one out here. Thank you guys for what you do. Thank you for listening. I want to start by saying Patriot props to you guys. You guys are my top patriots that I go to from my information. |
| 1:45.0 | And, you know, I just read an article the other day that Salt Lake or Utah was one of the states that |
| 1:49.4 | was slow to warm up to Trump, I think, back in 2016. And I was one of the people that was |
| 1:55.4 | slow to warm up to him. But based on everything that's happened now, I've warmed up to him. And if they convict him, if he's a felon by the time the election is held, that seals my vote for me right there because I know that he's been railroaded. You're more likely to vote for him if he gets convicted than you would be if he were not convicted. But, Dave, to be fair, it sounds a little bit like you're already at 10 on the dial and and you would just make the dial go to 11. Is that fair? Yeah, I think at this point, yeah, I think that's probably a fair assessment. I would vote for him now, but I definitely, my vote will be still. There won't be anything that'll change. If he's convicted felon come election day, he's got my vote no matter what. |
