Summary
This week on In The Market with Janet Parshall we tackled the topic of self-control and what the Bible really means when it says that we are to live disciplined, self-controlled lives. Our guest offered practical, easy to apply strategies to get our lives back on track and moving in the direction that God wants us to move. We’ve all heard the saying “ Beauty is only skin deep” but is that really true or is there another way of looking at beauty that is a step above the way the world looks at it? In fact there is. We explained why beauty from God’s perspective is about so much more than physical appearance. Our guest explained how we can overcome the negative thoughts in our heads and discover our true worth. The world recognized expert on the 5 love languages took us on a new journey as we delved into the 5 languages of apology. He helped us see that by following this biblical model we can bring healing to all of our hurting relationships. Our guest turned back the hands of time to explain how the Lord sent the disciples out to share His message of hope to the world. He showed us how following this model enables us to be God’s ambassadors to a lost world. We invited you to join our husband and wife team as they lay the straight stick of God’s truth up against the modern thinking in the news of the week.
