homes in Maui and oddly enough their homes weren't the ones that burned. If they had, then we probably would have

had a national television program and we'd have had Lady Gaga and all these famous people and they would have told us how important this was

and we would have all emoted, we would have empathized, we would have connected because

oh my goodness this famous people had harm come to them, or at least one of their homes.

On the northwest portion of Maui in a town called Lahaina or Lahaina, depending on who you ask,

2,200 buildings were destroyed.

That's 2200 structures.

Most of those were residential structures.

This was the poorer and the working class section of Maui because somebody has to clean the big mansions.
