Summary

The Mariners are going to the playoffs, so Brock and Salk rejoice and react to all of the celebrations last night as well. They then bring on Scott Hunter, Mariners VP of Amateur Scouting, to get his insight on how their draft and developing has paid so many dividends over the years, what they look for in players and plenty more. In Blue 88, Brock dives in on which Seahawk benefitted the most from missing the last couple games,  who Klint Kubiak compared Tory Horton to and how good the UW trio of Demond Williams/Jonah Coleman/Denzel Boston are.

The celebration last night, I think, was tempered by the fact that they can still

0:38.6

clinch the AOS as soon as tonight with Houston losing last night. So I think they still wanted to. So do they do that all again? They put the plastic up again. Oh, yes. Bins of beer and champagne and goggles. They do it all over again. Not only would they do it all again, but if and when they win tonight, they'll do it bigger tonight than they did last night. I think last night was a 60%.

0:57.5

Was it really? Yeah, I don't think last night was the real deal. It was fun. Who was Energy Boy? What was his name again? That was Mun and Ori Kawasaki. Maybe they need to sign him because that guy could go. He didn't matter. could help with the party yeah. So do they do it again when they clinch the night?

1:11.6

They don't do it again when they clinch the two. I would be surprised if that one. No, I don't think so. No, I think you do it tonight if and when you clinch. And then that's it until you win a series. And then obviously they get escalatingly larger and larger and more and more intense, the farther into it you go.

1:27.8

But it was quite the party last night, as the Mariners are back in the postseason.

anybody's out there. And certainly in the American League, a minor league system to go with it,

1:50.4

the players to augment when you need them, who are major league ready, the trades you need to

1:54.7

go make. And Josh Naylor comes up with the huge hit again last night. You just love him,

don't you?
