I mean, that is just in a weird, crazy up and down, nutsy baseball game, man. I am glad that Mitch Garver, Shannon Dreher, and Gary Hill and I all had the exact same feeling. Heart racing. I mean, my heart was just racing. I was on the airplane watching it and landed. And about that time I landed, we get to the ninth inning. I'm like, come on, just close it out, right it out right so I'm getting off the plane I kind of pop it back on my phone like what what just happened we just was four to two come on Logan just got you through six you know we get through this hoppy's wild seventh and then spires clean like okay it's gonna it's going to be a 4-2, nice conventional win.

And then the 9th and 10th inning were, I think you said drunk.

You know what, though? But it even starts before that. Like, yeah, the 9th and 10th were crazy. But, I mean, you just said it. Logan had pitched six innings. if you only watch the first two or three innings, you'd be like, yeah, well, that's a lie.

Like, there was no chance he was going to do that. But, you know, he just kept kind of, first he got a couple of breaks. You get the Huff RBI or the ground rule double that doesn't end up driving in a run. You get the challenge at the plate in the second inning on the Cole Young throw.

I mean, like a couple of those plays and a ball bounces a little differently and eventually you have to pull him.

And instead, he sets down, what was it, 13 in a row?

Like, of course he does. And just, I mean, what a huge, huge deal. That is for the bullpen. It just gives them the opportunity to win a game that they probably wouldn't have, not just yesterday, but today and moving forward as well. Then you get a garver. You're two guys, Brock. You're two faves. Big days. You're three faves.

You're going to have to look at your three favorite players on the team yesterday and say all three of them were like co-MvPs of this game. Can you say that that was Mitch Garver's best game as a Seattle Mariner in two and a half years? Yes. Because I think you can make a very strong argument. Offense and defense. Yes. And what Dan even said about what he did for Logan. Offense, defense, emotionally, communicative, like challenges, his tags at the plate, his managing Logan through all of that, calling pitches that were backwards and doing, like, and the trust that Logan had to believe in him there. And then obviously the three-run blow, you know, you say it all the time. There's 50 you win, there's 50 you lose, and then there's the other 60. That one was in between. That was on the in-between list. That was on the, it's not one of the win or lose variety. I mean, usually like three plays at the plate and multiple replays and ground rule doubles. That's one you usually lose. Well, you get the O'Neill ground rule double came later. Now, they did end up scoring that run, so maybe that one wasn't as big a difference. But in the moment, you're like, oh, my gosh, that saves a run. And then he comes in. Then you get O'Neill thrown out at home. then you get the Randy home run. Your other guy, Mr. Randy or Rosarana,

And now Wisdom is out there making plays at the plate every other inning. The ball finds you song. That ball will find you. Well, that's why you get a veteran. I don't think Michael Oroyo makes that play. No, he does not. He may do a little more than, you know, the play. He might, but I don't think Michael O'Royle makes that play. No, he does not.
