As we talk about the Knicks comeback last night, it was as improbable as any comeback I have seen

because this team was playing terrible.

They were doing nothing that they were doing in their seven game.

Winning streak defensively, they were bad, they were missing shots, missing threes.

There were so many open threes from the Cavaliers

last night before the Knicks finally started turning it around. I just, I couldn't believe

how wide open these guys were, and the broadcast was talking about it. It's just nothing we had

really seen. And maybe part of that was the fact that O.G. Ananoi wasn't really as explosive

as we had seen him prior to the injury until the overtime. That might have had something to do with it. And it only looked like McHale Bridges was the only one inspired on the defensive end until seven minutes to go, a little more than seven minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Yeah, both teams missed a ton of shots. And it was really Bad game. Well, yeah, because it's a make or miss league. Gee, you know that. And, but when Jail and Brunson needed to make it happen, he made it happen. And then they locked down on defense, and they were contesting shots. But even if Sam Merrill had a chance to win the game right there right at the end,

you know, maybe if that's Tyrese Halliburton, that's going in. Yeah, true. Or Donovan Mitchell taking that shot, it's going in. And I have to say, like, Donovan played great for three quarters. I mean, he was doing everything he wanted to do for three quarters, and then all of a sudden, he kind of disappeared.

I felt like, I don't know,

did you feel like Sam Rowe was just,

he just kept to do for three quarters and then all of a sudden he kind of disappeared uh i felt like i don't know did you

feel like samuro was just he just kept shooting well yeah i mean that's what what he does right that's

that's why he's on the team is to make big shots like that this one didn't go down look like it was

about to you got the half the bang half a bang Mike Breen, but that would have been devastating. More devastating than them not even showing up in game one would have been them coming all the way back and then losing on a buzzer beat or three. That would have sucked. That would have sucked. And that would have been a reminder of like last year you know i think it would have

been like this is the way it started last year and uh they didn't let it happen and maybe that's

because of the experience and that has to play a part into who this team is and what they've been

through together before they can get to the top of the mountain yeah so. So maybe they've learned over the last couple years.
