Good Wednesday morning, one of the greatest comebacks in Knicks history, an NBA playoff history.

One of the more unlikely I've ever seen of my life in any sport happened last night at Madison Square Garden

where the Knicks comeback from 22 down, late, well, midway through the fourth quarter to force the game into overtime and win

game one of the Eastern Conference Finals.

And I'll tell you exactly how my night went when the Knicks are down 18 and Carl Anthony Towns

goes up for a basket, misses, falls down, his legs are up in the air,

and you hear audibly on the TV, oh!

Then the calves go running down the floor, and Richard Jefferson goes up, five on four,

got to take advantage.

Donovan Mitchell, bang three, I grabbed the remote, I said, off, F this.

Then I go upstairs, and then all of a sudden, zh, zh, zh, chich, d, ch, bang three. I grabbed the remote. I said, off, F this. Then I go upstairs, and then all of a sudden, what? I'm thinking it's an injury, right? That's what I'm thinking it happened. It's an injury. Turns out, no, they're coming back. Back downstairs. Rewide. Let's go. And then watch the overtime live. They take their team, put them on their shoulder, and then they start

making buckets, and they also play defense. You know, for us older Nick Vans, who do remember

the 69 and 73 team, we remember games kind of like this, where they would be flat and

all of a sudden Clyde would go off. And somehow, you know, he didn't have the three-point shot like

McHale Bridges started to hit towards the end of the game last night. But what he did have is

he had the ability to get to the line and get three points, which was always amazing for all of us

he used to watch. So as an older Nick fan who was watching this last night,

you know, I've seen games like this.
