This could go one of two ways because I feel like if there's one person,

as we've talked about the first round of college football playoff rankings.

And, Dad, I don't know about you.

I found myself as someone that's worked in sports talk, not certainly as long as you now, but going on a decade, really having a hard time getting fired up about anything that I saw last night. And so I'm counting on Jason Fitz here, my former co-host and the college football rankings reaction at ESPN back in the day, the current host of the college football power hour over at Yahoo Sports to provide some sort of spark.

Because if anyone can do it, Fitsy, I feel like it's you.

Yeah, look, we've done this for a long time.

I like, this is no joke.

We were getting on the power hour a few weeks ago.

And I started breaking down and strength the resume and going through remaining strength of schedule and all this stuff. And Adam Brennam and my co-host on that

show at one point was like, man, you are, you were really locked into what the committee does.

That's when I realized, Mike, that together you and I have covered the college football

playoff committee for eight years. Like at this point, if we aren't pretty smart on what happens in this process, then we're

pretty stupid. Like, it's just, you kind of know what's laying out. You guys have been doing

it a long time from, from Mike, your house in West Hartford, Connecticut, where you would do the

rankings reaction show from the couch. Yeah, you guys have nailed this for years.

And you're right, Mike.

It's tough to, really the first one is about positioning, right?
