You essentially said the Yankees have no reason, no excuse to not win a championship after what they did at the deadline, of course. Why do you feel the way you do about this Yankees team? Well, it actually goes back to, and some of your listeners are not going to be old enough to recall this but the

1976 Yankees go to the world series they see greatness in the form of the big red machine i

remember being a kid a yankee fan and they get swept in that series but they learn something from

that and bounce back the next two years now they added reggie Jackson, and they win the World Series in 77 and 78.

I think Yankee fans old enough will want to apply that same formula to this season.
