The NFL draft is about a week and a half away, but last night, a report came out that could impact

one of the drafts, the drafts talk, I should say, for one of the higher rated draftees.

As Ruben Bain out of Miami was referenced in a report from Ali Connolly about being

cited for reckless driving after a March 24 crash in Miami that left a passenger in a coma.

That coma or that passenger died three months later.

The NFL NFL teams are aware everyone is investigating. The question is,

why now on a report like that for somebody that is a massive draft prospect to so many?

He's Buck Rising. I'm Jason Fitz. Buck and Fitz filling in on two pros and a cup of Joe,

and this happens sometimes, Buck. Like, as we get closer to the draft and there's more work being done more

leg work being done on all sorts of different prospects and people that are coming into this year's

draft rubin bain is somebody that at one point you know about a month ago some people were putting

him in the top three four five of the draft then the scouting combine came. His arms were short. Historically, that doesn't

bode well for his position. So all of a sudden, he fell a little bit down draft boards. But still,

Ruben Bain is somebody that I think most people 48 hours ago still projected as a top 10-ish pick

in this year's draft. And now the story breaks from Ali Connolly at readoptional.com that not only is there

this crash, but there's another site for careless driving that's out there.

So we have an issue with Ruben Bain.

And that issue requires some nuance, but it also requires some conversation about

why right now

on something like this leaking.
