Summary
The polarization of the Middle East has never been more apparent than we continue to see it in the news every day. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we talked to two respected bible teachers to get a better understanding of why Israel is the target of so much hatred and the indispensable role that small nation plays in God’s mighty prophetic plan for all mankind. They also addressed some of the most prominent issues that always come up related to End Times events such as the role of Russia & China in these events, the destabilizing of Europe that we are seeing today and where if anywhere the United States is in these End Times events. The church at large was not prepared for the challenges that came to its doorstep from the rise of the LGBT movement. We heard from a missionary to that community who shared her life experience and insight as a former gay woman to teach us how to navigate that challenges this movement continues to present to the Church and how to love them with the truth that can lead them to salvation and transformation. Jesus is not soft. His words have always been meant to challenge our thinking and lead us toward conviction, repentance and salvation. But in our self-driven, self-affirming world of today people easily take offense at His words of life and instead seek a Jesus that better fits their ideas of a “love-only “ Savior. Our guest opened up some the hardest words that Jesus ever spoke to reveal His heart of compassion and His unflinching willingness to make us uncomfortable in order to lead us to salvation. Is it possible that there are more people who are willing to listen to the message of the Gospel than we are typically led to believe by the media of today? Our guest challenged this commonly held belief and taught us how to bridge the common gaps between belief systems and how to find open hearts willing to listen our message of hope. Class is back in session as we join Janet and Craig for another important lesson on how to use the wisdom of God’s word as a measuring stick against the often confusing news and opinions in the marketplace of ideas today.
