Fantastic. We have questions about the Mariners current team for sure, but I wanted to start by asking you first about their decision to extend their top prospect, or rather give a contract

to their top prospect. Cole Emerson, we're all very eager to see him,

given the news with Connor Griffin as well.

I think that we're wondering if this is kind of like a move

that we're going to see more of from teams

with these massive, massive contracts

for guys yet to make their debut.

Tell us a bit about your reaction to the Emerson News

and while we're at it also with

Griffin's debut today. Yeah, I think you've seen teams being more and more eager to sign

guys to these extensions, especially their top prospects, players that they feel really highly

bored. Because also like the trend in the game is that teams don't want to be paying players a premium in their free agent years.

They want to pay them when they're most likely to be productive, which is in their 20s and early 30s.

And for the Meriters, I think especially, and Jerry DiPoto talked about this during Cole Emerson's press conference.
