Tuesday edition of the program, I just put up a poll question in honor. If you're just waking up with us, I think the biggest news that did not get a lot of attention was the Kansas City Chiefs announced yesterday afternoon that they are going to have 22% available seating for their opener against the Houston Texans on September 10. That is fans present in Arrowhead to the

start off the season. And I just put up the poll question to start off the hour. You can go vote in it at Clay Travis on Twitter over 2000 of you have voted in the first five minutes.

Would you go watch your favorite football team play in person this September if fans are permitted 83% of you are saying yes you would go.

Would you go watch your favorite football team play in person this September fans are permitted and by the way some of you may have a favorite football team that is a high school team and there hasn't been a lot of attention or a or discussion at least that I have seen.

But so far as I know almost every high school in America that is going to play is going to have fans present.

So yes, there's a lot of attention on college football or on the NFL and over whether fans will be present. But the reality is before we even get to the NFL season or the college football season a lot of states out there are going to be allowing fans present for high school football games.

And if you listen to yesterday's program you know that I'm fired up about the fact that football itself has become a partisan political issue. This is a crazy stat if you live in a state with a Republican governor.

There is a very strong chance that you're playing high school football so far this fall 25 out of 26 states with Republican governors are playing high school football.

If you live in a state with a Democratic governor chances are that you are not playing high school football 15 out of 22 states with a governor who is a Democrat are not playing high school football.

New York and New Jersey still have to make decisions about whether they're going to allow high school football to be played this fall or not.

So how crazy is that that it's almost entirely a function of whether or not your governor is a Republican or a Democrat as to whether your kid is allowed to play high school football or not in all 50 states out there we ran through yesterday all of the breakdown.

But for all those states that are allowing high school football this fall the first test of how many people want to show up and watch football played in person will not come in the NFL on September 10th with the opener between the chiefs and the Texans it will come in high school football is not going to come from college football either.

Because high school football is already underway some places I think I watched I don't think I know I watched a game in Utah so Utah is already underway with high school football and I know in my state of Tennessee this weekend on Friday there are a ton of high school football games that are being played across the state.

So we're going to officially be underway in Tennessee with high school football for a month before the University of Tennessee or Vanderbilt in the SEC would be playing which is kind of wild to think about.

We got a bunch of people out there who want to weigh in but we also want to let you know Drew McIntyre the WWE champion is going to be on in about 15 minutes on this program if you're a wrestling fan as they get ready for summer salam.

So how to good tweet where he pointed out that the big 10 network had an old Rutgers football game on while the SEC was breaking down their live schedule and again I think they're going to have to put the big 10 presidents in witness protection if they are going to make the decision not to play.
