We're officially underway with the NBA playoffs the NHL playoffs is rolling.

Lots to get into including the fact that the SEC officially announced its schedule which makes the big 10 decision to shut down the college football season seem even crazier.

Particularly because no one in the big 10 can even seem to explain whether there was a vote to cancel the season or not and this goes to the very essence of my criticism of the decision of the big 10 to shut down.

Because I told you if you go back and listen last week I said you know what's going to happen.

A lot of these big 10 university presidents are trying to dodge being held accountable for their decision to shut down the season and so what they are going to do is try to hide behind a closed door meeting and avoid there being a count.

A vote that comes out where you can hear their name and know exactly who is to blame for the season being canceled.

And so now you've got the AD of Penn State and the president of the University of Minnesota and they're all saying well I'm not sure there was really a vote we were just kind of sitting around and talking and we decided that it made sense to cancel the big 10 season.

This is madness and if you think it's madness now imagine the madness that is going to ensue if the SEC actually manages to play a 10 game season this fall alongside of the ACC in the big 12 and meanwhile the big 10 and the pack 12 don't play it all now.

What's interesting is the data is all starting to break in a very positive direction surrounding the coronavirus.

And that was the fear of why the big 10 couldn't play but if you go look at the states in the south all of the data as well as the southwest to be fair all of the data that's coming out of Florida and Arizona now and Texas as well to a large extent is reflecting
