Summary

The fight to save the unborn got some good news! On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we shared with you the news that an unprecedented number of Planned Parenthood clinics have shut their doors across the nation. We also helped you to once again lengthen your prayer lists as we heard about more believers around the world who are laying their lives down to the sake of the gospel. Why does witnessing seems to be one of the hardest things for believers to do? Our guest challenged us all with this eternally important question. He confronted and encouraged us with God’s word regarding the importance of sharing the good news with a lost world. Taking some of the fear out of the proposition, our guest used scripture to show believer how to live lives that invite people ask about the difference and thereby create openings to share Christ with them. It is an old adage, but true nonetheless, “Freedom isn’t free!” And in our day and age it is under assault like never before. From surveillance technology all around us to the increase acceptance of socialism at the highest levels of government leadership, freedoms that previous generations fought to preserve are now the sacrificial lambs to totalitarianism. Our guest encouraged us to not only recognize the times we are living in but to take action now before it is too late to take action at all! Is God passe’, past His prime, a relic of past generations that didn’t know better? You might be surprised to learn that many of the people you drive by in your daily commute or pass in the grocery aisle believe this. Our guest explained how we have changed from a God-fearing nation to one that has pushed Him aside. His practical strategies helped us understand the root of the struggles and how to address them boldly and biblically as we continue to contend for the faith. The end of the week is upon us and that means it is time to sit down for another radio classroom lesson on using God’s word as the measuring stick of truth against the false, misleading and dangerous ideas bought and sold in the marketplace of ideas every day.
