Summary
Whether you are new in the faith or further down the road, you will encounter people and situations that confront and challenge your beliefs. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we spoke to a teacher who explained how to deal with criticism from others, the suffering that comes with standing up for your faith and why discovering what God’s love is must be one of the most important things we do in our faith walks. Perhaps it is the climate of our times or the rabid resistance to the things of God that seem to permeate our culture, but believers today are more reluctant, and in some cases even afraid to witness to others. Our guest cut through those fears and reticence to share how we can conquer our apprehensions and have honest, eternally important conversations with those we meet. Talking about the events of Revelation have more often than not been viewed as a reason to fear and be terrified at what is to come. But we shared the heart and insights of a well-respected pastor and teacher who encouraged God’s people to re-examine those events not in terms of what will happen but WHO is coming back and the great and glorious promises that will be filled when these prophecies are fulfilled. He explained how this change in perspective can deepen our relationship with the Lord while we wait anxiously for His return. Our guest took us into the life of Oswald Chambers, a man whose faith walk has inspired many, to give us new insights into his own journey with the Lord and to encourage us in ours. Join us for another deep dive into the headlines of the week as we scrutinize what we hear in the marketplace against what God’s word says.
