And, you know, even a guy that I like a lot, um, uh, Garrett Cole did it, uh, after a World Series lost by the Astros. You know, he took off an Astro cap and, you know, he was a free agent from that moment on. Soto lost a World Series of the Yankees. He said, yeah, you know, the Yankees didn't have any advantage. Alonzo, they didn't even get into the playoffs, and Alonzo on that day said, yeah, I'm going to opt out. Again, don't want to get into that. But I think the Mets have a tougher decision on Diaz than the Yankees do going after Bellinger. Diaz is one of the top closers in the game.

But you want to give him a four-year contract at more than $20 million a year with how volatile the closer role is where a guy could have a great year and a bad year, a great year, and a bad year. I think they'd like to keep them, but am I giving him another five-year, $100 million contract? I'm not sure I do. But the Mets, you know, their bullpen's a mess.
