Can you explain to me what happened?

Sure.

There's this guy, you give me a progrosion, right?

Who runs a private military mercenary force, essentially, called the Wagner Group.

And Vladimir Putin is often used different kind of fiefdoms, different warlords to serve

his interests.

And over the course of the last several years, the Wagner Group has become more and more

powerful.

They kind of do a lot of Putin's dirty work for him.

They run his disinformation campaigns.

They've been part of his wars in places like Syria.

And since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine last year, they've really been on the

front lines, grinding it out, and some of the toughest fighting.
