We hear a lot of people.

We hear a lot of time. We're going to be on the market. I'm so glad we're going to spend the hour together.

You know, we talk all the time about what's being bought and sold in the marketplace of ideas.

And, well, there are a lot of shabby goods, a lot of counterfeit ideas that are being marketed out there. But we also know there's truth. How do we know that? well remember so much of what john bunyan wrote in his classic pilgrim's progress when faithful and

christian arrived in vanity fair they didn't want to be there. They found the marketplace of ideas to be a rough place. They didn't even want to be recognized. Bunyan says they pulled their collars up around their neck. They didn't want to be seen. And the merchants were howling at them. They were shouting, buy, buy, buy. And what did they say in response? Finally, when they realized whose they were, they said we only buy the truth.

So that tells us two things.

Number one, they discerned and knew what truth was.
