Made it finally. It's taken way too long to get to Starkville, Mississippi on a football weekend, and

they don't come any bigger than this one.

Coach Jeff Labby, joining us. Coach, congratulations. You got that huge win last week.

You've been so close in so many big games. You beat Arizona State early in the year.

Tell us all about it. Good afternoon. Yeah, well, I appreciate it. Appreciate you having me.

We needed that one last week in a huge way. I think that's understandable.

But our guys, how they've owned their response, when things haven't been perfect, how we've

continued to play the next play, their response during the week as they've been in the building

has been what you want. These guys have done everything we've asked them to do. They understand

we've got an incredible opportunity tomorrow and Warner. Let's talk about this journey because you didn't exactly inherit a great

situation. You could see the signs of improvement last year, but sometimes when the results

don't come with it, what happened this year? I mean, because this really from the beginning,

this team has been different. Yeah, our guys have. I mentioned it. They've done everything we've asked them to do. And I think being your to understanding what the expectation is, is we've gotten into it, so many new pieces from a roster standpoint that have given us the opportunity to do what we want to do. And again, tomorrow, just another great opportunity for our guys, our fan base, and our university. I know there have been so many close calls.

I mean, it's impossible to even, I don't really want to put you through it again because the agony of the near misses.

But finally, you reversed it last week on the road.

What were you able to do other than finish it?

We were able to point to many different plays that gave us the opportunity to win the game and making the play.

And those are the things that we've continued to talk about is finding ways, man, to make that play at the end of the game to give us a chance to have a happy locker room.
