Summary

What does it really look like to follow God’s leading wherever it might take you? On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we shared the story of an Australian man who did just that. And his obedience has led to the creation of one of the most unique museums in the world and the recreation of the most famous boat in human history. He gave us a deeper understanding of what it means to really trust God to lead the path of your life and the rich blessings of eternal impact that come when we do. The sexual revolution of the 60’s and 70’s turned societal acceptance of traditional marriage and family on it head at the time. But looking back on it in hindsight the facts bear out a different truth. Where proponents saw it as the endgame, our guest showed us how it was in fact a symptom of a much larger and more important issue in the human heart, the search for identity. He helped us see that this search apart from God’s perfect plan for our identity in Him, leads to what we saw and still see today, confusion, uncertainty and misguided living. We spoke to a cognitive scientist who used his field of expertise to show us that contrary to some modern beliefs, our brains and the way they are wired, demonstrate the truth of God’s word that we are both physical and spiritual beings. Hollywood has reduced the supernatural world into a series of spooky clichés but the reality of the unseen world impacts the lives of every one of us, especially believers. That is why we once again invited on of our favorite pastor/ teachers to answer your most important questions about angels, demons and how thin the veil is between our world and theirs.
