Here on a busy Thursday in New York City.

The fallout continues following the Mets over the span of 48 hours,

letting Pete Alonzo and Edwin Diaz, both walk and free agency.

We are still waiting for the Yankees to make a notable move.

There is a report from Jeff Passon on ESPN that the Yankees are listening on offers for jazz chisholms. That's about the only Yankee news I could dig up and find it. Just because they're listening, that really doesn't mean much to me. All right, they're listening. Great. What does that mean? Are they making any overtures in return right like you call brian cashman

you say hey we want jazz chisholm and cashman says make an offer and then what happens

so that we don't have other than the note in passants column that they're listening so not a whole

lot going on with the Yankees.

The Mets, there's a lot going on with them, but they haven't done anything.

And as we're getting said here to do the show, we had another big baseball free agent signing that just went down.

Another top reliever is off the board.

Robert Suarez is signing a three-year, $45 million deal with the Braves.

So you have the Phillies bringing back Kyle Schwerber that happened yesterday.

On the same day the Mets lose Alonzo, and they've already lost Edwin Diaz to the Dodgers.

And now here are the Atlanta Braves signing the former closure from the Padres.
