This is National Works Zone Awareness Week.

I'm a victim of being ran over by a semi-while flagging.

The person wasn't paying attention, and they hit me with their vehicle.

I've seen an accident where we were the first people to walk up, and that picture will never leave my mind.

I've seen the people get hit before.

It's been horrible.

Construction zones on roadways and bridges are more than just cones and equipment.

They're the workplace for thousands of dedicated union laborers. Everybody has a family that they need to get back home to, so please just pay attention to us out here while we're working. We all have family, and I know it's a pain in the ass. We're trying to make the roads better for y'all. We're doing this for everyone. We're hardworking Hoosiers, just like you, and we all want to make it home safely. People would just take a couple seconds to pay attention. Be aware where we're at, where the cone zones are at. We're all in this together, and we're all just trying to be safe. This is Brian Short, business manager for the Indiana Labor's District Council. Everyone deserves a safe place to work. So the Pentagon releasing footage of the U.S. Navy opening fire on an Iranian-flagged cargo ship,

who ignored warnings to turn around over a six-hour period, six hours of warnings, six hours of defiance.

Then the Navy did exactly what sent com promised it would do.

They boarded that vessel.

Blockade has teeth.

The footage kind of shows it, and I believe the Pentagon releasing that footage,

to show deliberate transparency, a move to preempt any skepticism.
