He's a hotel investor. Also does other types of real estate as well, but today we focus on talking about hotels, because that's what his primary strategy is. He talks about how to get into hotel investing, why it's like the best strategy, why it works for printing cash in 2025, 2025, 2026, and why these years are going to be so good for it. We go into the upsides, the downsides, the side sides, everything. It's so good. You're going to love it. So without further ado, why don't we just jump into the interview with Sue Jay. Sujay, welcome to the show, man.

It's a pleasure to be here. Maui, you know, can't complain coming from Columbus, Ohio. Yeah, it's not too bad here. Yeah, Columbus to Maui. It's a slight improvement today. But Columbus is beautiful. I mean, Ohio in general is beautiful. I think people don't realize that, like, especially in the summer, like, it's a beautiful place.

Yeah, and especially now, like, with all this, like, especially in the summer, like, it's a beautiful place.

Yeah, and especially now, like, with all this, like, short-term rental boom and people looking for these, like, underrated small markets. Yeah, yeah. I think, you know, places like Ohio are really popping up on the map. We have a place called Hawking Hills, not too far from us. and people are going crazy investing there.

And so that's some of the really cool things that happened after COVID, right?

So people realizing the beauty of, us and people are going crazy investing there. And so that's, that's some of the really cool things

that happened after COVID, right? So people realizing the beauty of places like Ohio. Yeah, beauty like Ohio. It's true. I was Midwest guy too. So you were born and raised there? I was born and raised there. I was born and raised there. Yeah. So Midwest guys, we get it. All right. So I want to start with the big question, and then we'll get, we'll come back to it later. But why should somebody invest in

hotels? Yeah, the question is

why not, right? Hotels right now, like every time you stay at a hotel, did you ever think

you're saying at a well-oiled investment machine, right? Hotels are the most slept on asset class

in real estate right now. The cash flow is crazy in this high

interest rate environment. You can literally cash flow after debt service, have money to pay

off investors, have money to pay yourself. And so it's like, why not? Why are you investing in

3% cap rate deals with multifamily and self-storage, it's oversaturated, right? So why not is the true question. Yeah, I want to dig into all that today, but first I want to get to know a little bit more about you. So I know you as a hotel investor, obviously. All right. So I know you as a real estate investor that you've done a number of different things. I know hotels or motels. Hotels will get into that today, maybe the difference a little bit. But I know that's part of different things. I know hotels or motels.
