Well, as far as 2020 goes, Brian McNally, I don't know if we could have a better start to the new year than the capitals have had so far.

A, you ring in the new year going into Carolina and beating the hurricanes.

And right now, that might be the sweetest thing for Capps fans because people hate the game. What a turn. What a heel turn this has been. It used to be that was like the game. Oh, Carolina. All right. Well, we'll roll them. The fan club will go down there. They'll buy 3,000 tickets. It'll be let's go Caps chance. Those days are over. Not anymore. Not anymore.

It's, uh, we were down there for the playoffs last year. It's a fun atmosphere. Raleigh's a fun town. People maybe underrated a little bit. And the, and the canes are, uh, canes are back. They're, you know, kind of laying in the weeds there a little bit behind the islanders and certainly the penguins have somehow kept their season together.

I don't know how that's possible.

But that was a good, I would want to watch this in the second round of the playoffs. I got pushback on Twitter from Capps fans and I was like, you have to play somebody, people. Right. You can't like, you wouldn't want to play the Penguins either, probably. So Carolina Caps. Sign me up for that juice. Sign me up.

That'll be back and forth up and down. And that was just the appetizer. For sure. Bananas off the rails crazy win against San Jose at home on Sunday. Never seen anything like that. That was... It's incredible. It was fun. We have seen some things in that building over the years, like some incredible moments, but that was an all-timer.

So, you know, I think there's two things there.

Players tend to look at that in the moment they're celebrating.

They're really happy.

Today, they probably look back at that game and go.

A lot of teachable moments. A lot of teachable moments. A lot of game film can be watched on that game. Let's learn some lessons from that. I mean, they're finding themselves. You know, the Islanders game was up and down. Then they played really good, you know, maybe not great first period against Carolina, but the second period was good. They kind of have kind of found themselves. They're up and down a little bit, but up and then you're up, what, eight in the standings over the penguins, 10, I think now on the Islanders, even though you just lost to them, 11 or 13 maybe on the Carolina, it's just, you know, a division title. Up and down, that's pretty good spots.

That's what I'm saying. If you're in that middle of the season kind of dog days, I mean, it's still a good place to be. So we'll see if they can kind of pick up some points here because the schedule coming up here, Rob, is like, I mean, if it's me and you, I'm going W, W, W, that's a seven to win, right?
