SCOTUS rules that Trump cannot block the release of his financial records from prosecutors --however the documents may still be barred from the public until after the election, at the very least. Trump got extremely angry about the ruling, tweeting out his disdain in all caps. Healthcare workers on the frontlines of the pandemic are still in dire need of PPE; but the WH is claiming that any concerns over shortages are “overblown.” The #DefundThePolice movement sparked by George Floyd’s murder and the protests that ensued have had a significant impact on American attitudes surrounding race.
