is a toy called Laboo Boo Boo Dolls. Have you all seen these?

Yeah. Everybody in the world has. We covered this weeks ago on today versus back in the Day. Oh, the segment no one's ever heard of? That's cool. Have you listened to the theme song? It's so cute. Nobody's listened to it. Because it's not hot, like hot gauze. But if you haven't heard of Lubu-Boo dolls, they're basically like the modern day Beanie Baby. These collection of like ugly, cute monsters.

They come from China like literally all toys do, but they're sold in blind boxes where you only find out what character you get after you open it.

They've gone viral because of TikTok and celebrities and everything.

They're super cute.

They're retail markets wild.

Yeah, and they're based on a book. Yeah, and they're so valuable now. Thieves are actually stealing them. In fact, there was a great Labubu heist that just happened in Southern California. Which, I mean, putting the name Labou at the beginning of it doesn't make it sound scary. No, make it sound kind of cute. It's a big waboo boo-boo. But four mass thieves smashed down the door of a toy store recently just to steal the Labuboos and nothing else. And here's the owner of that store explaining what happened. I just had a gut feeling to wake up, you know, and check my phone. So I witnessed everything live when they were in here robbing the stuff. Amy, just for the Labuboos, everything that was more expensive because I didn't have any cash in the register. Yeah, they know because they took the most valuable stuff. They only left the stuff that are not really popular. So they made off with about $30,000 worth of merch in Labuboos. And the thing is, whether or not you've heard of Labubu's before, it's a big thing. And it made us wonder, what else could be the next big thing to come to the U.S. from somewhere else in the world? Oh, that's kind of a cool thought. And we found a few different things that might be coming here.
