Summary

Emma Steuve (née Slominski) crashes the pod during the Era of Ethan while Patrick is on his PATernity leave! We answer three questions from star patrons Camille and Ben (thanks to all who submitted questions on Discord - join here!) and welcome NICU Nurse Emma to Dr. Ethan's Dating Corner to absolutely HUMILIATE a listener who likes to kiss her boyfriend between bites of roast beef which, for some reason, makes her boyfriend's mom uncomfortable.

Camille's question: I work in recruiting for a major hospital system, so ~personally~ I would love to hear a bit about her decision to leave her nursing job (not trying to poach her, I swear). Obviously only as much as y'all are willing to share, but I hear from people every day about why they are looking to leave their jobs because of everything that COVID has done to the healthcare world, so I'm also just interested to see her perspective on all of that too. Recruiting for it has been mentally and emotionally exhausting, so I can literally only imagine what it has been like on the patient care side of things. (Also happy nurses week to @em_stueve and any other nurses out there, thanks for all y'all do to keep your communities healthy!)

Ben's question: I would also be curious to hear Emma's perspective on the Catholic Community you all are planning.

Ben's Second Question: DEDC Question for Emma, which I feel she'll have a unique perspective on: If you like a guy who has a podcast, should you listen to the podcast? Backstory: We have a friend who recently mentioned she has a crush on a Catholic guy in our area, who happens to have a podcast. I actually enjoy his content, they have good discussions and it's very topical to my area. I don't believe she currently listens, but I'm curious if Emma thinks she should start.
