What's up, S.C. Nation, and welcome to another episode of surviving the survivor the

podcast that promises to bring you the very best guess in all of true crime.

Today it is our special series surviving my biggest case with a very special

best guest here today Jim Fooda. He is a public safety advisor with a proven track record in the areas of law

enforcement training and security. He's got a lot of experience he's an expert on hostage negotiations

responding to more than 300 hostage in barricade situations during his

33-year tenure with the King County Sheriff's

office that is the Seattle area and Jim is a physical security specialist

providing security for dignitary visits to Seattle including for

presidents George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, as well as

international figures like Nelson Mandela and Maya Angelou.

In addition, Jim served as police and military consultant trainer for the U.S. Department

of Justice in Bosnia, Indonesia, and Pakistan, and he was formidable in

tailoring Democratic police training material to the political environment in these assigned countries.

Currently, Jim is the executive director of Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound, a nonprofit

organization that encourages members of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies

in the fight against crime.
