I heard this story from my friend.

Apparently it's something that happens often at hospitals.

Two nurses were walking down a hall.

It was lunchtime.

An old woman, one of the inpatients, came walking towards them and said hello.

The nurses said hello back.

After the old woman had passed them, one of the nurses turned to the other and said,

Don't turn around.

That woman died yesterday.

It seemed the old woman hadn't realized she was dead yet.

When people think of ghosts, they mostly think of them as being transparent spirits,

but there are some that still look exactly the same as they did when alive.

Another time, a patient was walking towards some nurses and smiled and said hello.

The head nurse sent the others off to do various chores or pulled them aside to chat,

so no one was looking in the patient's direction.

One of them wondered why, and it turned out, the patient had also died the day before.

Apparently it's not uncommon for spirits to walk down the hospital halls, not just at night, but during the day as well.
