But do we agree? We're going to be talking about 1980s, The Fog made by John Carpenter. But before we do, I am your host, Rob

boys. And without further ado, Dave, will you just jump right in and give us a synopsis of this movie that we are going to spoil?

And it's very old.

There's already a remake that's sort of very old.

So if you haven't seen it, go watch it, then listen to the review or just listen to the review.

And we'll tell you if you should watch it or not.

But we are going to spoil the shit out of it.

The Fog, 1980, directed by John Carpenter.

Strange things begin to occur as a tiny California coastal town prepares to commemorate

its centenary.

An animate objects spring eerily to life.

Reverend Malone stumbles upon a dark secret

about the town's founding. Radio announcer Stevie witnesses a mystical fire and hitchhiker Elizabeth

discovers the mutilated corpse of a fisherman. Then a mysterious iridescent fog descends upon the

village and more people start to die.

So this was John Carpenter's second cinematic film after the 1978 Halloween movie he did.

And I really liked the format of this movie, how it was set up.

Start with an opening ghost story.

Then it gets into the history and kind of the origins of the haunting and then dives right into the haunting.
