privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi, Sweet Friends. It's Sally Clarkson and I am talking to you today, welcome to Add Home

with Sally and friends and oh my goodness, what an incredible few months we've had. If

we were ever expecting life to be the same, we have all been surprised because I feel

like we have had both a COVID virus and the quarantine and so many surprises, their

disappointments, things canceled, events canceled and an absence of friends in our lives,

which I think really does create psychological stress. We were made to be people of community,

of faith and church people, of neighbors and so I think that obviously that has caused

people to be a little bit on edge and a little bit depleted. But then fast forward and we've had

so many amazing storms and devastations all over the world and just all sorts of hurricanes

tornadoes and different violent acts in different countries and then we had this very sad and

tragic and unfortunate situation of the death and Minneapolis of a beloved man and following that,

we have had hundreds of outbreaks of violence and eruptions of dissidents and I just know that if

you're like me, your world has been a little bit shaken in the past few weeks and so I kind of

wanted to come today to maybe address a little bit of what I think is so important and grounding

ourselves because as one of my friends said to me today, you know our whole lives, we have,

as believers have heard about the possibility of end times and I'm not saying I have any idea

or any knowledge of when the end times will come. However, I think that it would be foolish of us

to not be emotionally and mentally prepared for difficult times. Paul said that difficult times
