Summary

Justice has been a study of mine. through the days. Jesus is a God of just love—equitable generosity and care for all people, all created in His image. Most of all, though, as. Christ followers, we are to exhibit Him in every relationship. He humbled himself to give us everything. We owe all people His love and grace and friendship. And so choosing to pass on racism as a legacy of our lives is not acceptable. if we have given our lives to serve Jesus. Yet we do see hate, small mindedness, violence everywhere.

Hello my friends, it's Sally Clarkson at Home with Sally and friends and I come to you

0:43.7

today with just a lot of serious thoughts on my heart and in my mind I know that as I look

0:52.3

back on the past couple of months we've all been under a barrage of challenges, of temptations,

0:59.6

of difficulties. And now we come to this very, very sad situation in which we saw many of us

saw multiple times the tragic death of George Floyd. And I have been holding myself back from

1:19.3

talking about it at this point yet because number one, it has caused me deep clay and I have

1:27.6

talked about how deeply saddened we are about the state of things and about this very, very

1:34.8

deplorable situation, the sad death. But I don't feel like I'm so important in the world or so

1:42.8

wise that I know exactly how to address these situations or this issue. And so I pray that today

1:49.6

when I come to you that you'll know that my heart is to try to say something that is worthy of

1:57.6

Christ, worthy of honoring Christ and what would be on his heart while knowing that I'm going to

2:02.9

fall very short of being able to to do an adequate job of that. But I think that one of the things

2:11.7

that I've been drawn to this week is I've been praying every single day is that God is a God of

2:18.8

justice. And I was looking up a lot of different definitions about justice and why it calls a God

2:26.6

both in many verses that I read that he is just and he is filled with loving kindness. And justice

2:34.3

basically means to bring equity to bring honor to bring goodness and and love into a relationship

2:43.0

in regards to someone else as well as to yourself to to have a just relationship to have a

just judgment means that right things are taking place that fair things that that there will be
