Hey everyone. This is Dorenda Wilson. Welcome to this week's podcast. If you don't know me already,

I'm married to Daryl. We have eight kids ages 13 to 26. We have four grandkids and we have been homeschooling for over 22 years.

We have five who have graduated and we still have three at home. So we're sort of in this for the

long haul. Today I'm going to be talking about hope for the overwhelmed mom. Before I dive into that,

I'm just going to give you a few quick announcements and

I'm trying to keep things simple. Since my name is fairly uncommon,

I'm able to do that. So thank you, Dad, for that great unusual name. I'd also like to let you know,

if you have not read my little book called The Unhurried Homestchooler. It is a simple, mercifully short book on

homeschooling. You know, homeschooling can feel overwhelming at times, and even the greatest

resources out there can feel overwhelming. And that's one of the reasons that I wrote this little

book is I wanted to really touch on the really important things or that I feel like are the really

important things when it comes to homeschooling and maybe help lift your burden and remove some

unnecessary expectations from your homeschooling journey.

It is a 31 day devotional. So it's 31 days in God's Word, but instead of just touching on a
