Summary

Welcome to HOOVERING, the podcast about eating. Host, Jessica Fostekew (Guilty Feminist, Motherland) has a frank conversation with an interesting person about gobbling; guzzling; nibbling; scoffing; devouring and wolfing all up… or if you will, hoovering.

This week’s guest is a brilliant actor (who you know from Jamestown and other killer shows) and all round excellent creature, Naomi Battrick. She feeds me homemade beans with some seriously exciting hot sauce fresh from Mexico whilst we (me, Naomi and her dog Milton) discuss everything from curry in bed through to some very in depth, and be warned, at times graphic discussion of bulimia and other disordered eating.

Everything written below in CAPITALS is a link to the relevant webpage.

Honourable Mentions

NAOMI BATTRICK is on instragram being her gorgeous, lovely self. She’s filming something very exciting right now that’s still a secret but you can follow her work and check out the shows she’s been shit hot in HERE in her IMBD page.

Start, why don’t you with JAMESTOWN that she’s so ace in.

We guzzle beautiful nuclear, glowing hot sauce snuck over direct from Mexico called LA ANITA. I give my usual toot to the delicious beast that is TABASCO

The three star restaurant she talked of in Rome is LA PERGOLA and I wanted on about THE IVY and CHEZ BRUCE

HERE is that Louise Grey article about her bulimia and the ordered eating that’s so rife in girls’ schools.

And last but not least here’s a link to ROCAMADOUR GOATS CHEESE which I’m pretty sure you can smell even through the screen.

OH, And

If you have got a any spare dosh to give a month I’m on this great site called PATREON where I exchange for rewards including exclusive content...
