Summary

Welcome to HOOVERING, the podcast about eating. Host, Jessica Fostekew (Guilty Feminist, Motherland) has a frank conversation with an interesting person about gobbling; guzzling; nibbling; scoffing; devouring and wolfing all up… or if you will, hoovering.

This week I’m hoovering, remotely (he lives in another county) with incredibly funny man and actor, the amazing Joe Wilkinson. Or as you might actually know him better ‘Bean Bag Joe.’ It’s Friday early evening and we’re both having mystery crisps and beer, over zoom for a change, so we could see as well as hear each other. Which was lovely. WHAT A FUNNY MAN.

If after giving to them you’ve still got more spare dosh to give a month I’m on this great site called PATREON where I swap your money for ace podcast related stuff like totally exclusive content and guest recipes. It’ll help me keep the podcast not just alive, but also thriving. Thanks so so so much if you’ve become a patron recently and/ or stuck with me since the beginning of this.

He was drinking HOP HOUSE 13 and I was guzzling and small but strong one called ‘Salt’ from BEER 52

The sitcom he’s in which is incredible if you haven’t seen it is HIM AND HER and it’s all on iplayer now.

I talked about doing PEARSHAPED which is one of the longest running open mic comedy gigs in London and my dear sweet Lord was it rough.

Last but best, of course he chose to have a VIENNETTA
