Summary
Welcome to HOOVERING, the podcast about eating. Host, Jessica Fostekew (Guilty Feminist, Motherland) has a frank conversation with an interesting person about gobbling; guzzling; nibbling; scoffing; devouring and wolfing all up… or if you will, hoovering.
This week I’m talking to funny boy comedian and filmmaker Stuart Laws. I eat my homemade kimchi for the very first time with some cheese on toast, YEAH BOY and he wolfs a hot cross bun with a pan au chocolat chaser. YEAH BOYYYYYY. What a life this is we’re living!

Honourable Mentions
You can follow all of Stuart’s properly brilliant comedy and film work by following his TWITTER and lucky you, he’s also got two shows, no less, that you can stream on NEXT UP.
I’m doing liquid hoovering LIVES over on INSTAGRAM every week with former guests - make sure you’re following the INSTAGRAM and TWITTER for @thehooveringpod to be sure not to miss one. They stay in my Insta stories for 24 hours after they’re up as well.
My live stuff is obviously all on hold but I’m in two series on telly at the moment, THE TROUBLE WITH MAGGIE COLE on ITV Hub and TRIGONOMETRY on the BBC iplayer.
If you have any spare dollar in your life the first thing I’d like you to do with it is give it to either a food bank like the TRUSSELL TRUST.
If after giving to them you’ve still got more spare dosh to give a month I’m on this great site called PATREON where I swap your money for ace podcast related stuff like totally exclusive content and guest recipes. It’ll help me keep the podcast not just alive, but also thriving. Thanks so so so much if you’ve become a patron recently and/ or stuck with me since the beginning of this.
There’s no links online right now but if you ever see a street food stall called Kimchis, run to it.
This is INLET in New York.
Coffees and coffee places we mentioned included PACT who you can buy ethically sourced lovely coffee from online, STARBUCKS, CAFE NEROS and also Nescafe Azura,
