And without further ado, here's what's striving the day.

Our first story takes us to Indiana.

Yes, Indiana, which you are very familiar with, Adam. It's become this

unexpected epicenter of Republican interparty tension. The White House has been none too

happy in the wake of what Indiana did. So why don't you walk us through exactly what

happening, why folks in D.C. should care. Yeah. So, Megan, I was on the floor of the Indiana Senate

most of Thursday. Indiana is known as the Crossroads of America. The Indiana Senate floor was the

crossroads of President Donald Trump's political and domestic agenda ahead of the 2026 midterms.

Essentially, he was demanding that the Indiana Senate, which has a

breakdown of 40 Republicans to 10 Democrats, pass a gerrymandered map that draws out two Democrats from

their seats and essentially give him a two-seat advantage in what is currently a 7-two map, make that a 90 map, and give him

two seats going into the midterms in a year where we know Democrats just need to flip three seats

nationally to win Congress. And so his political operation here put him on the line. They turned

this vote, Megan, into a loyalty test on Donald Trump.

It's been a four-month pressure campaign. Vice President J.D. Vance flew here twice on Air Force 2.

Indiana Republicans visited the White House. They were in the Oval Office. And President Donald Trump himself, up until last night, was calling Indiana Senate Republicans and trying to whip them on an individual basis.
