He should be celebrating his 53rd birthday today with his parents, Ruth and Phil and his sister,

Shelley, but instead we are remembering the brilliant mind and kind heart that were stolen far too soon.

And of course, we are talking about Dan Markell.

all of true crime. Today would have, in in fact been Dan Markell's 53rd birthday.

But as you know, his life was cut brutally short back in July of 2014, shot twice in the head

by a set of hitmen. And that eventually was linked back to his own wife's family ex-wife at the time

we're talking about wendy adelson's family and you guys know as they say as paul harvey used to say

and now you know the rest of the story um with charlie adelson both convicted and now Mama Don Adelson convicted as well.

Here today are a couple of friends of Dan Markell to remember Dan on his birthday.

First up, you've seen and met him before.

point with Danny Markell.

So, Jeremy, first off to you, I mean, you've been on the show before.

What is this day like for you? It's obviously a, you know, not, not a day where you have fond memory,

I mean, where you do have fond memories, but you're obviously thinking of the murder that happened

back in 2014.
