Please join Denise and Samantha as they discuss different ways to implement a daily practice into your life. They explore different ways to work specific practices attuned to you into your day in order to feel more balanced mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Studies have shown that integrating daily practices can enhance mental clarity, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. The focus of small, consistent actions that can be easily integrated into daily life, such as mindfulness, physical routines, and spiritual rituals seems to be a key in developing consistency. Some practices can evolve with life stages and contribute to cognitive functioning and resilience but what it really comes down to is finding the personal rituals that resonate with you and find a way to prioritize this self-care into your daily routine.

If you have a routine or practice that has improved your quality of life in some way and you’d like to share, please send us a note at: http://enlightenedempaths.com

Hello and welcome to Enlightened Empaths, your community for the spiritually awakened,

0:08.1

where we discuss, explore, and connect with fellow empaths, healers, intuitives, and seekers.

0:19.1

Hello, Empaths, we hope your week is off to a beautiful, relaxing, easy start on this Monday.

0:25.3

We're going to be talking today about the importance of daily practices.

0:30.3

Not as something rigid or overwhelming, but as something small and meaningful and steady that supports your mental and emotional health. Daily practices

0:40.3

strengthen mental clarity and emotional regulation because it gives your mind a place to land.

0:46.5

And don't we all need that right now? We definitely do. Yeah, and it can be even something as simple as

0:53.4

just taking five slow breaths in the morning,

0:57.4

longer on the exhale than the inhale.

1:00.5

And it calms your nervous system before the day even starts asking stuff of you.

1:06.0

It's a way of saying, I'm here and I'm grounded before the noise kicks in. And I think that's so important because

1:13.6

sometimes, I don't know about you, but for me, when, oh, how am I going to fit one more thing

1:18.2

into the day? And how do I prioritize? So I've said this for all the years we've been doing the

1:23.3

show. My journaling in the morning is non-negotiable. It happens. I make the time for it to the

1:29.9

exclusion of other things sometimes, but that's a non-negotiable. For some people, it might be a

1:35.1

yoga practice. It might be hiking. It might be reading. What we want to talk about today is there

1:41.7

was a quote, and I was trying to remember who said it, they had it was a book that was written and they said spend time in each of the four rooms

1:49.5

each day with your mind, body, spirit and physical to really be well rounded. Don't spend too much

1:56.3

time in one room more than the other. And I think that's what we're saying with this daily practice

2:01.0

is you can make little tiny changes in your day-to-day life that are going to help you

2:07.6

reduce stress and anxiety because you're building a predictability to how your day is unfolding.

2:14.4

Yes. And it doesn't have to be in all those four rooms. Sometimes, gosh, Denise, when you were in the thick of it raising your boys and working all the time, didn't reading stuff like that piss you off?
