privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

Hello my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and welcome to Add Home with Sally. I think that

my recording probably just said that, but I just wanted to welcome you personally.

Oh my goodness. What a week we've had. This is the week in case many of you are listening

to this at a later time. This is the week in which the Congress was overrun with people

who destroyed it and screamed and yelled and were trying to disrupt the pointing of all the

different votes from the different states for Biden. It is the time in which five people

are killed. It is a time in which pipe bombs, a couple of pipe bombs went off a policeman

lost his life trying to defend Congress. It was an awful, awful week and there's been

a lot of vitriol and hate online. And so after a very hard year, a year in which all of us

are depleted and there are many thousands of people dying all over the world of coronavirus.

We have found ourselves in the midst of yet another very disruptive and disheartening week.

And so I've been thinking and praying and just wanting to continue with podcasts because

I hope in some way that my podcasts today might be yours. I think it's significant

that Jesus often talked about peace. Peace be yours. That shallow, that peace of God

that passes understanding that Paul talked about. Peace is a desire that all of us care

not just to have in the world, but where we must carry peace in our hearts. And I know

that so many of you have actually been getting a lot of letters in the past week or so about

people who have been having arguments with their husbands or with their children or with
