Has there ever been a holiday where your mom or grandmother was cooking in the kitchen and you were hungry?

But the food wasn't quite ready yet and they said, go find some cereal.

Go find something to eat.

Well, in today's teaching, I'm going to teach you how to be an elevated, elegant, and relaxed host.

The brand new teaching today is Homemaking for It Girls becoming an elevated host.

Okay, so there are so many things that we have to talk about

because you know how I've always taught you all that rushing has an atmosphere.

And you know how it is when you're hosting and you're going out of your way to make sure everything gets done and then you're sweating and then you have, you know, flour on your shirt.

You have stuff everywhere and then people show up and the presence that you're giving off is frantic.

Or maybe your children are running around and in your mind the mac and cheese has 20 minutes.

Don't talk to me until I see these bubbles oozing out of this mac and cheese.

But again, that also releases an atmosphere.

I don't know about you, but when people experience me, my presence,

my home, I want them to experience me bringing heaven down to earth. And it reminds me of this

scripture, Romans 14 and 17. And if you were raised in church, you've probably

heard this scripture. But I want you, when I read this, to imagine this, become the reality

as you host people in your home. It says this, for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

That's the kingdom. I want to bring the kingdom of God into my home. So when people walk into my home,

I want them to feel righteousness, joy,

and peace in the Holy Ghost.

Guess what?

People can only feel when you embody yourself.
