Axing the tax or in this case the tariff. I'm Daria Albinger Fox News. The White House is turning its focus on affordability.

President Trump signing an executive order to bring down the costs on some things that you probably buy at the grocery store.

Fox is Madeline Rivera with details. So they are scrapping tariffs on things like coffee, tea, cocoa, spices, bananas, oranges,

tomatoes, tomatoes, and beef. The White House has also been floating several ideas about how they

can drive down prices for Americans. They've talked about 50-year mortgage plans for lower

monthly payments and giving out $2,000 checks from tariff revenues. Democrats meantime say the

partial rollback of one of the

president's signature policy shows they know they've made a mistake. Democratic Virginia

Congressman Don Bayer says in a statement President Trump is finally admitting what we always knew

his tariffs are raising prices for the American people. Food prices first surged when the COVID-19 panic disrupted supply

chains, but they continue to rise amid global pressures. The president does not think that

further tariff rollbacks are going to be necessary. The FBI's made an arrest in connection

with an attack on the office of the acting U.S. attorney for New Jersey. The prosecutor, Alina Haba, speaking to Fox News about it.

We've had friends that have been unfortunately assassinated.

And you never really think it would come that close to home.

And this individual, obviously, got very close to where I sit for work every single day. So it was, he got into the

building. It was, it was frightening. The FBI says a suspect, Keith Michael Lisa, was wanted for

allegedly entering the federal building in Newark while holding a baseball bat. He was charged

with possession of a dangerous weapon in a federal facility and with

depredation of federal property. He says he is not guilty. America's listening to Fox News.
