What you didn't know is the series, the collection of sermons we started last week, Home for Humanity,

is kind of to frame for you why I believe God has asked us to name our community church home.

In fact, we've made it one word.

It also is kind of a word that we can own,

which is cool.

But I wanted to marry it because I wanted Church and Home to be this synonymous idea that we would be a home for humanity that everyone would belong here and our community would not function like a country club or a business or an organization or an event or a gig,

but we would function like a home and we would be a family and we would love each other and serve each other and actually live out the love of Jesus in proximity

in each other's lives and so that is kind of the passion behind these messages so I'd

like to go with you now back to John Chapter 14 where we started

last week and I want to start share with you now part two in a collection of

sermons we'reling Home for Humanity,

Home for Humanity.

John, chapter 14 and verse one.
