ghosts and they won't be for the faint of heart. If you want to experience our

and get ready for a new episode of American Hauntings. Hollywood. It's a name that guaranteed readers for any newspaper story that was

published anywhere in the country in the early 1900s and in in a few short years, it wasn't just the name

Hollywood that sparked interest for the public.

It was the names of the people who put the place on the map.

Names like Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin, Theedabara, and the Gish sisters, Dorothy and Lillian.

They helped to make Hollywood seem larger than life and turned a dusty little ranch town into one of the most famous places on Earth.
