Hello, hello, you absolute smasher. It's Mickey, welcoming you to the Tuesday interview.

Do I sound a tad goodier than usual? Hmm, perhaps. But I am chatting with one of my favourites,

poet Holly Muknish. So it is some well-deserved kippering. Holly's latest collection is called Virgin.

And within its five chapters, making myths, making

shame, making memories, making laws and making love, she explores a six-letter word without

size power, a power that should also very much be outdated, but is sadly not.

It is a brilliant collection, packed with humour, rage, beauty, heartbreak and hope.

Holly and I gnatur about dangerous words, what virgin means to girls and women, and why it

shouldn't, and how she has changed my relationship with mashed potato forever.
